MEASURING FROM HOME
Measure the chest circumference around the widest point of your chest. Breathe out and stand in a relaxed stance.
Measure horizonally under the arms around the fullest part of the bust.
Place a tape measure at the nape of the neck, in the centre of where the back seam meets the collar. Measure closely down the back of the body to the chosen length.
Measure around your waist where you usually wear your trousers. Make sure that this is a body measure from underneath your garments.
This is measured from the inseam crotch down the inside of the leg to the floor, or to the required length. It might be best to get someone to help with this to get a more accurate measure.
MENSWEAR FITTING
Lyn Oakes overcoats are cut to be worn over a jacket, so have space to allow this.
If to be worn without a jacket, select one size down.
Short fitting: 42 chest measures 41 inch back length 24 1/2 inch sleeve length.
Regular fitting: 42 chest measures 43 inch back length 25 1/2 inch sleeve length.
Long fitting: 42 chest measures 45 inch back length 26 1/2 inch sleeve length.
Lyn Oakes raincoats are cut to be worn over a jacket, so have space to allow this.

The Whipcord raincoats have a raglan sleeve for extra ease of movement with a jacket underneath.

Tailored fit: this is a modern cut suit best described as fitted, perfect for a stylish but easy to wear style.
Fashion/slim fit: this is a suit that is cut very close to the body with trouser legs that are skinny on the legs.
